Full Day Developmental Child Care

Choice Time *These are based on the children's needs and interests and include activities such as reading, playing with developmentally appropriate toys and materials, etc. 

Bodily Care: diapering, hand washing, clothes changes as needed

Outside Time** We spend as much time as possible outside and will bring activities out when the weather allows. Infants may be held, in strollers, or moving around our designated infant spaces on their own speed, 

Nap: Infants have their own cribs and an adult is always within sight of the sleeping room. 

7:00 - 8:15  Breakfast/morning choices/bodily care (Bodily care includes diapering, toilet learning for older toddlers, hand washing, and clothing changes as needed)

8:15 - 9:10   Work time (This includes activities that promote fine-motor and large muscle coordination; activities that promote language development, pre-reading and math skills; dramatic/imaginative play to promote social skills and independence)

9:10 - 9:20   Clean up/recall 

9:20 - 9:30   Greeting time (this includes literacy activities such as reading, singing, and others)

9:30 - 9:45   Snack

9:45 - 10:00   Small group* 

10:00 - 10:15   Large group*

10:15 - 10:30   Story time/bodily care*

10:30 - 11:15  Outside time (we spend as much time outside as possible and provide a mix of focused and free choice activities to do there)

11:15 - 11:45  Lunch

11:45 - 12:00  Story time/ bodily care*

12:00 - 2:30  Nap time (Toddlers nap times vary. This includes wind-down and wake-up time)

2:30 - 2:45   Wake-Up/Bodily care

2:45 - 3:00   Snack

3:00 - 3:15    Music/movement

3:15 - 3:45    Outside time
